| California Special Mustangs are rare and cool. This 1968 Ford Mustang was built in San Jose, with a 289-2v, C4 Automatic transmission, 2.79 rear gear, AM radio, vinyl roof, tinted glass, power disc brakes, power steering, with Candyapple red paint and black interior. This Mustang has been restored back to original with the numbers matching drivetrain. The only deviations are the 4 barrel carburetor, AM/FM radio and the torque thrust wheels. The Marti report comes with the car that verifies the authenticity. This Mustang was restored in 2003 and has been a trailer queen since restoration with only 1000 miles since it was freshened up. All Ford sheet metal is in this Mustang. The engine was bored .20 over to clean up the cylinder walls. This California Special is one sweet ride. It has also been submitted for the California Registy next print.
