| DESCRIPTION |
| With its aggressive stance, brilliant Cortez Silver paint job, and cackling small block under the hood, this 1971 Camaro coupe is an awesome show and go piece that will make you smile every time you see it. Second generation Camaros are gaining a lot of momentum in the collector car market, and whether they're stock or lightly modified like this one, they remain brilliant performers with timeless good looks that will never go out of style. Take, for example, the cowl induction hood, which is a traditional Camaro upgrade that looks absolutely right on this '71. Or the blacked-out grille and slender chrome bumper which defines the early Gen Two F-bodies, along with those perfectly applied black SS stripes buried under the clear for a seamless look. Adding just the right balance to the hood, the large rear spoiler is a three-piece unit that allows the trunk to open and looks like it belongs on a Trans-Am racer. Along the way, you'll also notice crisp body lines, excellent panel prep, and a deep finish that will be a pleasure to wax on a Saturday afternoon. If you're looking for a great hobby car, this Camaro does it all extremely well. The black bucket seat interior is almost 100 stock, and with the redesigned 1970 Camaro, GM got it right on the first try. Those deep buckets were some of the more supportive seats on the market in 1971, complimenting the car's impressive cornering abilities. A center console with traditional low-mounted auxiliary gauges and the cool horseshoe shifter are a connection to the earlier Camaro, and the steering wheel atop the tilt column is surely designed to resemble early race car rims. This one also offers an upgraded AM/FM/cassette stereo system for entertainment beyond the engine note, and fresh carpets and headliner make it feel like new inside. In back, the super clean trunk clearly demonstrates that this has never been a rusty car, with the original pan intact and in amazing condition. The redesigned Camaro made great use of improved suspension geometry and a small block under the hood gives this '71 impressive handling and light steering that make it a pleasure to drive. The engine bay was clearly nicely detailed, but now shows some signs of age after being driven-and who could resist climbing behind the wheel? If you don't drive 'em, you may as well collect stamps. There's enough chrome to keep things interesting, and an Edelbrock carb and intake plus a set of long-tube headers help out in the horsepower department. The suspension has been lowered two inches up front and one inch in the rear, giving the car a predatory stance that eliminates fender gap with those big chrome rims. They're 17-inch American Racing Torque Thrust wheels will always look great, and they wear 215/50/17 front and massive 275/50/17 rear performance radials. This 1971 Camaro is exactly the kind of car that never lasts long on the showroom floor, so call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom.
