| Stealth is always the key to a successful sleeper. With a 327 CID motor and an L-79 intake under the hood of this '67 Nova, it's a cool little custom that will definitely catch people sleeping and make them pay. There are a lot of people who prefer the unusual, and if you're tired of red and black cars, this Granada Gold Nova with a white top should satisfy your desires. It has been finished to an exceptionally high standard given its economy car roots, and will definitely attract a lot of attention at local shows due to its beautifully finished exterior. The bodywork has been expertly fitted and finished, with that handsome paint applied using two-stage urethane. And the top isn't vinyl, so the two-tone look is just another subtle custom trick on this Nova's extensive resume. There's nothing shaved, decked, nosed, or frenched, just a super clean early Nova whose chiseled good looks have been popular for more than four decades. In addition, the chrome is nicely finished, the stainless has been polished, and all the glass is clear and damage-free. Obviously someone has already done the hard work for you, and all that's left is to enjoy it. The interior, however, has been taken to a completely new level with gorgeous black and gold leather in place of the original vinyl. Custom stitched in a subtle pattern, nobody will confuse it with stock, and the money spent here is all out of proportion to the car's value, which makes it doubly cool. The dash and gauges are stock, with mechanical oil pressure and temperature gauges mounted down low on the driver's side. The column shifter for the TH350 automatic is a nice sleeper touch and makes the interior feel spacious. A stock radio, new carpets, and a refreshed dash pad round out a very nicely finished interior that was clearly designed and fabricated for a guy who likes to drive. Power comes from a 327 cubic inch V8 that has been upgraded with an L-79 intake. With Chevy Orange paint on the block, a set of chrome valve covers, and a stock-looking air cleaner, it certainly looks convincing. And forget power-sapping power steering and power brakes, this car was built to run, and as a lightweight package, doesn't need power accessories to be nimble and sharp on the street. A solid undercarriage with no structural rust, a new dual exhaust system that sounds incredible, and rebuilt suspension and brakes make this a car that you can buy and enjoy immediately. The final pieces of the puzzle are those timeless Rally wheels wearing simple 14-inch blackwall radials.
