DESCRIPTION
This amazing 1969 Chevrolet C10 stepside pickup is one of those vehicles that needs more space than we can give it here. Completely rebuilt from the ground up, including a bare metal respray and a heavily upgraded suspension and drivetrain, there are absolutely no disappointments here. If you're looking for a fast, comfortable, loaded hauler that's also drop-dead gorgeous, look no further. The paint is called Goodwood Green, borrowed from the Corvette color palette and absolutely stunning on the handsome stepside bodywork. These are already some of the best-looking pickups ever designed, and the lowered suspension, not to mention the rust-free California bodywork and show-quality paint, give it a magnificent 21st century dose of cool. Very little has been altered, shaved, chopped, or frenched, but it sure looks different, doesn't it? That's the sign of a great custom, making the ordinary look amazing. Fully lined with Dynamat for a hushed driving environment, the leather interior is another notable upgrade that blurs the line between original and modified. The bench seat is from a late-model, and shows a comfortable patina that's appropriate to the 13,000 or so miles since the truck was completed. A custom billet instrument panel houses a full complement of Auto Meter gauges, while the rest of the dash is stock. A/C from Classic Auto Air has been integrated seamlessly into the original controls, and entertainment comes from an Alpine head unit combined with a 400-watt amplifier and trick MoMo speakers, along with a 200-amp subwoofer behind the seat. Power windows were added as well, making this truck feel more like 2009 than 1969, and it's as comfortable to drive as any new car. Impressive. Mechanically, there are just too many modifications to cover them all here, but I'll hit the highlights. The supercharged engine is a 350 cubic inch crate motor tuned by Tony Hatfield that comes with a dyno sheet reading 425 horsepower. Rebuilt only 2000 miles ago, it features aluminum heads, a big Holley carburetor, and, of course, that big supercharger up top. There's also a ton of chrome and polished aluminum, along with inner fenders that have been smoothed and painted body color. A TH400 automatic with a Gear Vendors overdrive unit provide a bulletproof link in the drivetrain. The suspension has been lowered using Moog and Classic Performance components, four inches up front, and a full six inches out back. Four-wheel disc brakes with red calipers provide retina-detaching performance and look awesome behind the polished 17-inch Torque Thrust wheels. KYB provided a set of high-performance shocks, and a fat front sway bar and rear Panhard rod make this truck handle like a sports sedan. Those tires measure 245/45/17 in front and 295/45/17 out back, giving the C10 a predatory look. There's so much more to this truck that I urge you to give us a call today to discuss it. The build cost more than three times the asking price, and they simply don't get better than this. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom.
