DESCRIPTION
The Mustang underwent its first re-design in 1967, gaining 2 inches in length and 2.7 inches in width. Overall, the Mustang looked like the successful sporty car everyone fell in love with in 1964. If you missed out on one please consider this car for showing, driving the back roads on weekends, or back and forth to the shopping centers. This 1967 Mustang convertible comes with an indestructible 289cid Windsor - V-8 and mated to a 3-speed SelectShift Cruise-O-Matic transmission. Bathed in the popular Candy Apple Red paint over a beautifully done red vinyl interior. This car looks fast. Some of the options and accessories include power steering, power convertible top, AM/FM radio, interior lights, remote manual outdoor chrome rear view mirror, a Ford Motorsport chrome dress-up kit, dual exhaust system with chrome plated tips and much more. The owner has gone to the expense to re-cover the seat cushions, door panels, arm rests. This car was built on February 9 of 1967 and the original owner's manual will go with the car. By 1967 Motor Trend was noted as saying this car started the pony car revolution. This is a great driving machine. It was similar to its original style but larger. The grill feature is a larger opening and the feature lines on the side led to a larger simulated air scopes. Real Mustang gear heads will also know that this was the last year that F-O-R-D letters were noted on the front edge of the hood. It is a straight and solid car from Georgia. The convertible top boot is still with this car and will go to the new owner. The bright work is good, inside and out. Even the glasswork is good. What is also rare for this car is the suspension; tires and wheels have not been altered. The P195/75/R14 tires on 14-inch rims, original hubcaps, shocks and brakes are the way they came on the car. If you are looking for a car that you can drive, show or vacation with, consider this car. This is a car that will only appreciate in value. Consider it a good investment that, unlike gold or silver, you can take out of the garage and enjoy knowing that it will be a head turner. This is a rather rare body style. Less than 9 of the total 1967 production was in the convertible body style. Detroit says that for every car sold it inspires and motivates 10 other people to consider a car purchase too.
