| DESCRIPTION |
| This spectacular 1967 Camaro pulls no punches, and quite honestly, you couldn't build this car yourself for even twice the asking price. A fresh 502, ominous black paint, and a cool houndstooth interior all add up to a fantastic F-body expressly designed to hand out beatings on the street. This '67 was built from the ground up to take no prisoners, and that means black paint was mandatory. With black paint, though, you know you can't cut any corners, so fresh quarter panels were installed along with a new cowl-induction hood, then it was all aligned and finished to a very high standard. Two stage black urethane makes it look impossibly deep, and you can see from the photos that there are no ripples or waves in the surface. The factory RS grille with the hideaway headlights looks good as ever on this Camaro. Out back, a ducktail spoiler was installed to keep it all Camaro, although it incorporates a cool center stop lamp for a modern twist. Those are freshly chromed bumpers, beautifully polished stainless rockers, and correct single element taillights. It really is as nice as it looks in photos. Inside, a handsome black and white houndstooth interior gives it a very OEM vibe, and that's a good thing, considering the Camaro had perhaps the best-looking interior of any pony car of the era. Fresh buckets, new door panels and carpets, and a taut headliner give it a showroom look, although there's no avoiding the upgrades. The small-diameter steering wheel wears a cool carbon fiber rim, and a Summit super tach is visible through the spokes. Auxiliary Auto Meter carbon-fiber-faced gauges have been fitted to the center console, just ahead of the Hurst cue ball for the 4-speed. There's also a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo system, but you won't need it once you hear this thing run. As I mentioned, the engine is a new 502 cubic inch GM crate motor wearing a set of aluminum heads, a Holley carb, and enough horsepower equipment to put a scare into a Viper owner. The list of goodies under the skin is long, so call us if you want all the details, but highlights include a big aluminum radiator, Hooker ceramic headers feeding a 3-inch Flowmaster exhaust system, and an MSD ignition system. There's a Muncie 4-speed for gear swaps and a rugged 12-bolt full of 4.11 gears on a Posi out back. The floors are completely original and rust-free, and the fuel system wouldn't look out of place feeding a top fuel dragster. The chassis is fortified by a set of subframe connectors and traction bars to control all the horsepower. Front disc brakes hide behind a set of gorgeous chrome Torque Thrust wheels wearing 215/50/17 front and 275/40/17 rear performance radials. With complete receipts and a full build by Robert Carden, this car is much more than the sum of its parts. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom.
