Description:

There's nothing better than a 1934 Ford, especially when it's powered by Ford. This handsome tudor packs an injected 351, and is full of all the modern conveniences. A no compromises rod that's every bit as spectacular as it seems. First off, the car has a steel body with fiberglass fenders, lending it an authenticity that many rods lack. Of course, the heavily louvered hood is steel, too, and it has a finish that has to be seen to be believed. The bright red paint is show quality, and while it is definitely eyeball-searing bright, the car isn't over-detailed with flames or other paint tricks that detract from the clean lines. Instead it has been modestly shaved and de-chromed, but the traditional look remains-it hasn't even been chopped! The doors open suicide-style, as they did in 1934, now using slick flush-mounted buttons on the cowl. The fabric roof insert has been neatly filled with a steel panel with stiffening ribs, creating a trick look that's totally functional at the same time. Stock headlights and taillights maintain the connection to the past as well, and the front end even features a brightly chromed bumper that's a variation on the stock piece. Nice! Professionally crafted, the tan leather interior is simply breathtaking in person, and I mean that literally, because the leather smells wonderful. Twin bucket seats are not too far off the original setup, although vastly more supportive and stylish. The original rear bench has been upholstered to match and offers plenty of stretch-out room for passengers. Goodies like A/C, power windows, and a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo are, of course, included, all neatly integrated into a mini console between the front seats. A selection of Auto Meter gauges look suitably retro, and the billet steering wheel has been wrapped in matching tan leather for a consistent look and feel. And with just 2700 miles on the clock, everything is still absolutely like new. With everyone building Fords stuffed full of Chevy motors, the fuel-injected 351 Windsor V8 in this '34 is a great example of how to do it right. Anyone can just throw a carburetor on there and call it done, but the fuel injection is not just for show; this rod starts instantly, idles perfectly, and pulls down surprisingly good fuel mileage on the open road. It also looks cool with those billet fuel rails atop the Ford Motorsport valve covers. There's a lot of polished aluminum and chrome under the hood, including the alternator and billet plug wire loom, and ceramic-coated long-tube headers will look bright and shiny practically forever. Underneath, the chassis is nicely detailed, with body-colored frame rails, chrome A-arm front suspension with coil-overs, and a bright red 9-inch rear. Staggered Torque Thrust wheels give it just the right rake, wearing 185/70/14 front and 225/70/15 rear BFGoodrich radials. Fully sorted, professionally built, and ready to collect some trophies, this '34 Ford embodies the best hot-rodding traditions. Call today! This vehicle is located in our Atlanta showroom.
